When we set a goal there are certain things we focus on to “measure” if we have achieved them.
Most of us are focused on what the scale says, if our friends have noticed, what we look like naked or if the world has entirely shifted on its axis.
But how many of you can say this about yourself?
How freaking awesome is that? A rockstar client wrote this in our weekly check in email after saying that she’s only lost a few pounds and hasn’t met all her goals perfectly every day.
Perfection is not the goal.
Write that on your mirror and say it to yourself every day.
“Exponentially healthier” days are the goal. Progress is the goal. Slowly and sustainably becoming a better you is the goal.
So this 2019, set a new standard. Cheer yourself with you make progress and forget about perfection.
