3 Quick Health Swaps That Have Recently Changed My Life

You know when you hear a new song (Me Too by Meghan Trainor anyone?), become obsessed with it, play it a million times, and then hate it two weeks later because you’ve heard it so many times? Well these tips are like that. Except it’s been more than two weeks and I’m not sick of them. So they are here to stay. Enjoy!

1. Fruit Infused Waterimgres

I finally got around to doing this and it is so easy and addicting! I don’t know why I haven’t been squeezing 1/4 of a lime into my water bottle and then letting the lime wedge hang out in my water bottle all night, but I am obsessed. I have a not-so-secret love of water flavoring drops and this has completely kicked those to the curb at the moment. Citrus fruits (lemon, lime, pineapple, orange, grapefruit) are especially awesome for this. Just squeeze a little of the juice from that fruit into your bottle, put the piece of fruit in your water bottle in the fridge overnight and shake it in the morning!

2. Cauliflower Rice

I am a big fan of white rice and stir-fries to begin with, but cauliflower rice is a game changer. Not only do you feel just as full as with regular rice, but you cut down on calories and it tastes amazing. Just toss some cauliflower florets in a blender, then cut up a few cloves of garlic. Throw both of them in the skillet for a few minutes and you are set! I love it with ground meat, bell peppers, onions and some sweet chili sauce.

3. Mangos & Whipped Cream

Okay, so the love of mangos is nothing new, but as a person who strives to have a little dessert every night this is a great option. Just slice off the slide of one mango and top it with whipped cream. You could even put just a pinch of spicy salt on top (everyone in Vietnam loves spicy seasoning with their mango). Far less fewer calories than ice cream, but just as sweet and satisfying 🙂

PS Don’t forget! The deadline for my online Meal Prep Mastery Course is July 15th!
